Work-Package 8:
Dissemination and Valorization
The final stage of the project, which
shall go beyond the project deadline,
involves the follow-up and support for
the promotion of European Works Councils
among multinational undertakings in
small European and new member states.
The project website shall serve as the
main channel for this purpose. Through
the website, support for the joining,
establishing and running a European
Works Councils shall be provided. Also,
direct and specific assistance for the
joining, establishing and running a
European Works Council shall also be
made available through the online
helpdesk in the website. Information
about the project and its deliverables
shall also be provided through the
distribution of a number of paper
informative brochures and e-brochures to
undertakings in the partner countries
and beyond.
The Project partners shall also be
required to carry out proactive
promotion of the project and its
deliverables. This shall involve the
sending out of e-brochures about the
project to their networks of contacts,
to promote the project in formal and
informal meetings and discussions, and
to contribute informative material to
the local media of their respective
countries. This workpackage shall be
coordinated by SEK of Cyprus.
Deliverables:
Promotion through informative
e-brochures of the Project and its
deliverables.
Promotion of the Project and its
deliverables during formal and informal
meetings, seminars, workshops and
conferences in related subjects.
10,000 three-gate informative
brochures with all the information on
the benefits in, and best practices of
joining, establishing and running a
European Works Council. These brochures
shall come in the following languages:
2000 in English, 2000 in French, 2000 in
Maltese, 2000 in Greek Cypriot and 2000
in Estonian.
9 newspaper articles, three in each
partner country in major newspapers on
the issue of information, consultation
and participation of representatives of
undertakings and European Works
Councils. The newspaper articles shall
highlight the issue, the current
practices, the direction of EU policy
and the project deliverables.
