Working Programme:

Work-Package 2: Kick-Off Conference – Launching the Project

The first activity of the project shall introduce the partner organisations to each other, and give them time to discuss the project, the deliverables, and the structure of the budget. Also, in this activity, the work packages are assigned and the contract is signed.


Deliverables:

One, two-day conference bringing together two representatives from Malta, two from Estonia and two from Cyprus where the project and its deliverables and the budget is discussed in detail, and where the contract is signed. This conference shall be planned and managed by the lead partner organisation, the General Workers’ Union of Malta and shall take place in Malta in the first month of the project. The participants shall be representatives from the partner organisation, and must include the project administrator who will be in charge of the workpackages of the partner organisation. On the agenda there shall be a presentation from the Project manager of the lead partner country on the Project, its context and its objectives, and of the workpackages. On the agenda there should also be a discussion of the workpackages and the contribution of each partner organisation, the budget, the contract and its obligations, and the most efficient and effective methods of implementation of the tasks. The operating language of this conference shall be English.
